	Obituary: John A Allison, 89, of Westford, passed away March 24, 2012 at the Westford House Rehabilitation Center after battling illness. John was born on November 3, 1922 and served in the Army during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Mr. Allison is survived by his daughter Cheryl Smart of Westford and grandchildren Allison Smart and her fiancé Tom Dryer of Fitchburg and David Smart of Fitchburg. He is predeceased by a son, John E. Allison.
