Agnes C. De Masse

WESTFORD - Agnes C. (Laszkowski) De Masse, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Genesis Westford House after a period of declining health. For forty eight years, she was the wife of the late Anthony R. De Masse who passed away in 1996.She was born in Cambridge on July 15, 1923, a daughter of the late Antoni and Mary (Chmielewska) Laszkowski. Agnes was a resident of Westford since 2002 and was formerly of Arlington.Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a sales support representative at Midland-Ross Corp in Cambridge for many years. Agnes was an avid reader who also enjoyed puzzles and trivia games. Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter, Alexa who was the light of her life. She was a sweet, loving, humble woman who believed the best in people and never said an unkind word about anyone. Our family misses her terribly but takes comfort knowing that after twenty two years, she is once again with her beloved Tony.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Helena (Pearsall) De Masse of Groton; her granddaughter, Alexa Victoria De Masse of Groton; also many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Stanley and Eugene Laskowski and Vitalia Ganczaruk.ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends may call at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD on Tuesday morning, August 23, from 9:30 to 10:30. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford.
