Ann Bertha Maleskis

Ann Bertha (Ratajczak) Maleskis, 90 passed away peacefully in Billerica, MA on May 27, 2011. Previously she was a resident of Buffalo, NY. She leaves her loving children, Marcia A. (Maleskis) Harrison of Westford, MA and Michael J. Maleskis III of Depew, NY; 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and a brother Joseph J. Ratajczak of Depew, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Michael J. Maleskis, Jr. and her daughter Jo Anne E. (Maleskis) Szczesniak. Ann was born in Buffalo, NY on January 6, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Bertha Ratajczak. Ann was a teacher of Polish cooking for many years at the Polish Community Center, Buffalo, NY. She was very active in local community affairs; a member of the Mothers' Club and Alter Boy Mother's Club at St. Stanislaus Parish; a member of the Holy Angels Academy Mother's Club, the Cardinal Dougherty Parents Club and the 49'ers Club. Ann will be remembered for her warm smile, caring nature, love of travel and her Polish cooking.brFuneral services at the Healy Funeral Home, Westford. Ann will be laid to rest at the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
