Beatrice C. Therrien

Beatrice C. (Lamy) Therrien, age 90, a lifelong resident of the Forge Village section of Westford, recently of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully at Greenbriar in Nashua on Tues. Nov. 11, 2014 with her family by her side. She was the widow of Leo E. Therrien, who passed away in 1989.

She was born in Westford on July 11, 1924, daughter of the late Raoul and Florida (Valcourt) Lamy.

A devoted mother, she dedicated her time to raising her family. She also worked as a crossing guard in Westford for several years. She was a former long-time parishioner of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Westford. She enjoyed crafts and music, and camping in Raymond, NH

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rose Ann and Robert Cortez of Nashua; a son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Karen Therrien of Orlando, FL; a brother and sister-in-law, Rene and Linda Lamy of Nashua; two grandchildren, Todd and Kelly Therrien; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Claude and Conrad Lamy.

ARRANGEMENTS -- Relatives & friends are invited to her visitation on Friday Nov. 14, 2014 at the J.A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 NORTH MAIN ST., WESTFORD, MA from 4:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Saturday morning with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish, 107 North Main St., Westford. Interment will be private.
