Bertha L. Goerke

Bertha L. (Hayward) Goerke, 79, of Westford, passed away on March 8th, 2012 at her home in Westford. Bertha was born September 26, 1932 to the late Frederick and Estella Hayward of Lowell. She worked at Nashoba Tech Cafeteria from 1982 to 2002. Bertha was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Lowell and the New England Chevelle and El Camino Association. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by two sons, Glenn Goerke and his wife Barbara of Westford and Carl Goerke and his wife Victoria of Lowell, two daughters, Susan Stone and her husband William of Westford and Lynda Barnwell and her husband Christopher of Rindge, NH, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and one sister, Francis Georgeoulis of Lowell, MA,three nephews Steve Georgoulis and his wife Leslie of Arizona, Fred Georgoulis and his wife Denise of North Andover, and Greg Georgoulis and his wife Sherie of Dracut. Former Husband Jack D. Georke of Illinois. She is predeceased by a son, Arthur Goerke.Friends are invited to call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the J.A. Healy Sons Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation is to follow
