FORGE VILLAGE, MA -- Beverly A. (LeBlanc) Bennett, age 84, of the Forge Village section of Westford, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, April 12, 2014 at Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer. She was the wife of the late George M. Bennett who passed away in August, 2011. They were married for 61 years.
Mrs. Bennett also leaves five children, four daughters, Marilyn W. Cronin and her partner Martin Sienkiewicz of Ashby, Beverly Perry and her husband Jim Perry of West Townsend, Anne Connell and her husband Jim of Forge Village and Lisa Bennett and her partner Brad Davidson of Dracut. One son, Michael Bennett and his wife Carol of Littleton. Mrs. Bennett also leaves nine grandchildren, five grandsons, Timothy Hall and his wife Betsy of Westford, David Hall and his wife Marybeth of Billerica, Brian Connell of Forge Village, Scott Connell of Forge Village and Tommy Bennett of Littleton, and four granddaughters, Tricia Targ and her husband Joseph Targ of Westford, Allison Steadman and her husband Shawn of Florence, NC, Kim Caldwell of Belmar, NJ and Ashley Bennett of Littleton. She also leaves eight great grandchildren, TJ Hall, Camp Lajeune, NC, Kameryn Hall of Westford, Leah Hall of Billerica, Natalie, Connor, and Rachael Targ of Westford and Mary and Sarah Caldwell of Belmar, NJ.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Lowell, MA and brought up in Lynn, MA. She worked for many years at Bowmar ALI and Lau Technologies of Acton until her retirement in 1997.
Relatives and friends may call at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St, WESTFORD, on Tuesday, April 15 from 4 until 8pm. Her funeral will take place from the Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 10am followed by a Graveside Service at Pine Grove Cemetery, Forge Village Road, Westford at 11am. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Westford Ambulance Fund, PO Box 197, Westford, MA 01886.
