Carol Daniele, 79, of Westford, passed away on December 29th. Beloved wife of the late Albert Daniele, Carol is survived by her children Karen and Mark, daughters in law Connie and Lori and grandchildren Jennifer, Andrew, Kevin, Olivia and Charlie.
Carol was the youngest of four children born to Carolyn and Chester McGeoch of Newton, MA. After graduating from Newton high school, Carol worked at New England Bell. In a stroke of good fortune, she met her husband Albert when he joined a friend on a last-minute trip to South Station. They married in 1957 and moved to Westford, where Carol worked as a baker for the Westford school system. Their children Mark and Karen soon made their family complete. After raising her children, she became a baker for Nashoba technical high school.
Carol's five grandchildren were her greatest joy, and as "Grammy", she was a beloved playmate, confidante and maker of whoopie pies. She was a devoted Red Sox fan, never missing an opportunity to support her team, even when innings ran past midnight. An accomplished quilter, she loved to create blankets and keepsakes for her family.
Carol will be remembered for her kind, generous and loving spirit. She will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial visitation at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St. WESTFORD, on Tuesday, January 6, from 4 until 7pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jimmy Fund Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. To share your thoughts and memories of Carol, please click the sign guestbook link.
