Christina is a 5-year brain cancer survivor, but sadly succumbed to the disease on Tuesday morning. She was a long-time member of the West Chelmsford United Methodist Church and a former member of their choir. She was an active volunteer at the Open Pantry of Greater Lowell, where her husband Tom still to this day remains very active. She had the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful services of the Chelmsford Senior Center Supportive Day Care Program where she made many new acquaintances.
In her final months, she had the opportunity to be served by the wonderful therapists, aides and nurses of the Circle Home Health (formerly the VNA of Greater Lowell). Barbara, Jessica, Stacey and Chris worked tirelessly to ensure Christina's comfort and safety. Her family is so very appreciative of the surgeons, doctors and nurses who have treated her so attentively over the last five years and of Rev. Mack for his many visits during her entire ordeal.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service celebrating Christina's life on Saturday, August 23, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at the West Chelmsford United Methodist Church, 242 Main St., Chelmsford, MA.
