Conrad C. Tu

WESTFORD - Conrad C. Tu, age 89, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Westford House after a long illness. He was the husbandof the late Margaret Y. Tu who passed away June 10, 2013.
He was born in Taiwan on October 24, 1927.He was a resident of Westford for fifteen years and was formerly ofHackettstown, NJ.
Conrad was a computer scientist during most of his working career. He enjoyed gardening many different vegetables and also strawberries and grapes. He tended apple, peach, cherry and chestnut trees in our 1/4 acre backyard.He also liked to travel, taking family road trips to Tennessee, Michigan, Louisiana, Toronto and Ontario. He very much enjoyed classical music, and his favorite instrument was the violin.
He is survived by three sons: Sampson Tu of Westford, Donald Tu and his wife Nicole Chen of Gillette, NJ, and Steve Tu of Manchester, CT; four grandchildren, Kelley and Jason Tu and Chani and Kacie Tu; also many extended family members in California, Canada and Taiwan.
