David C. Moulton

David C. “Dave” Moulton, age 87, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 after a brief illness. He was the beloved son of the late Irene (Milot) Robinson and Ross Packard Moulton.

Dave was born in Ayer, MA on October 30, 1935. He graduated from Westford Academy, Class of 1953. After high school he spent two years serving his country in the U.S. Army. Upon return, he married the love of his life, his late wife, Nancy (Lecourt.) He then had a short stay at Raytheon before pursuing his dream of becoming a builder. His career spanned six decades and he built hundreds of homes and contributed hundreds of acres to permanently preserve the wildlife in Groton, MA. He was so proud of the work he had accomplished.

Dave loved time with his family, always wanting to hear new stories from his grandkids. He also enjoyed being a private pilot, hunting, fishing, boating, traveling and reading true crime and history novels. He was a pillar for the family and will be forever missed but never forgotten.

Dave is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children, Allison Moulton and her partner, Rob Arthur of Glendive, MT and David C. Moulton, Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Groton; his three grandchildren, R.J., Alec and J.D.; his sister, Anne Greska and her husband James of Chelmsford; his best friend, Robert Collins of Groton; his long-time friend, Maureen Labine; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, Dave is predeceased by his sister, Jeannine Haberman and his step-brother, Bill Robinson, Jr..

Relatives and friends are invited to Dave’s Celebration of Life on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 4 PM until 7 PM at the WESTFORD HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 N Main Street, Westford. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 10 AM at Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, Westford. Burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Westford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to either the American Cancer Society, 3 Seen Street, Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701 or the American Heart Association, PO BOX 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
