Dennis P. Courchaine, Sr.

Dennis P. “Cush” Courchaine, Sr., a lifelong Westford resident, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the age of 64. He was the beloved husband of Lisa M. (Millette) Courchaine, with whom he was married for 35 years.

Dennis was born in Lowell on April 29, 1959 and was the son of Francis Courchaine of Westford and the late Ann Marie (Mulligan) Vullo. He was a proud graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School, Class of 1977, where he began his education within the trades. For over 20 years, he owned and operated his own HVAC business, of which he was immensely proud. Known as a skilled tradesman, Dennis had a talent for fixing anything in and around the home, finding joy in helping his family and friends.

Dennis took great pride living in the Forge Village neighborhood of Westford, where he spent his childhood. When it came time to start a life with his wife Lisa, they proudly chose to build their home in Forge and raise their family there, where he lived until his passing.

One of his greatest passions in life was the game of golf. He enjoyed his time on the course, participating in many leagues and tournaments throughout his life. Dennis appreciated nature and the outdoors, spending many hours fishing, hiking and relaxing by the oceans of Maine. His love of sports ranged from his unwavering support of New England sports teams to coaching his children’s baseball and softball teams, cheering them on during their youth.

In addition to his wife Lisa, Dennis is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children, Dennis Courchaine, Jr. and Jaclyn Courchaine; his four siblings, Michael Courchaine, Diane Malley, Lisa Ann Courchaine and Brian Courchaine; as well as many other family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Dennis’ services on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 4 until 7 PM at the WESTFORD HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 N Main Street, Westford. Burial will be held privately.
