Donna J. Goodman

Donna J. (Westman) Goodman, age 54, passed away at her home in Westford peacefully the morning of February 7, 2016, after a battle with breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of James N. McLeod.

Donna was born in Bridgeport, CT on August 30, 1961, beloved daughter of William &Norma Westman of Brewster, MA. She grew up in Shelton, Connecticut, and graduated from Shelton High School in 1979. She fondly remembered summers spent on Cape Cod and vacations taken with family. She went on to attend and graduate from Bryant University. Although she began her career in business administration, she selflessly took time away from work to raise her three children in Westford, MA.

It was clear to anyone who came into contact with Donna that she had a kind and gentle heart. She was always a giver and cared deeply for others’ happiness. Donna found joy in the simple things and enjoyed exercising with her friends, kayaking and biking with her husband, and spending time around family.

Donna is survived by her husband, James N. McLeod and her three children: Jennifer L. Goodman, Rebecca J. Goodman, and Nicholas S. Goodman, as well as her two step-daughters, Jamie L. McLeodof Pepperell, MA and Katie M. McLeod of Londonderry, NH. Additionally, she leaves her mother and father, Norma J. Westman and William D. Westman of Brewster, MA; sisters, Ellen M. Westman of Georgetown, MA and Luanne Westman of Brewster, MA; and brother, William D. Westman, Jr. of Ayer, MA.ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives & Friends are invited to her Memorial Visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Thurs. Feb. 11, 2016 at the J.A.
