Doris Cote

Doris (Perron) Cote, age 96, a lifelong resident of Westford, passed peacefully on August 27, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Roland J. Cote, until his passing in 2003.

She was born in Lowell on February 28, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Rose and Wilbrod Perron. For many years Doris worked at Murray Printing Company.

In her free time, Doris enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and also doing word searches. Her greatest joy however was spending time in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, David Cote and his wife Joyce of CA, Donna Bales and her significant other Rafael Roman of Londonderry, NH and Gary Cote and his wife Robin of Baldwinville, MA; her twelve grandchildren, Renee Wagner, David Cote, Kevin Cote, Steve Cote, Amanda Ozuna, Joe Terry, Nick Terry, Ashley Ellis and her husband Nick, Kelsey Bales, Joshua Levesque, Ryan Levesque and Caitlin Ann Cote; her great-grandchildren; her brother, Armand Perron; as well as many other family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Doris is predeceased by her daughter, Sheila Cote who died in 1982.

Relatives and friends are invited for viewing hours on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 8:30 until 9:30 AM at the WESTFORD HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 N Main Street, Westford. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 10 AM in Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, Westford. Burial in St. Catherine of Alexandria Cemetery, Westford.
