Edward M. Walsh

Edward M. “Ed” Walsh, 94, a life long resident of Westford, died on Sunday, December 18, 2022.

He was born in Westford on September 27, 1928, and was a son of the late Margaret (Thompson) and Edward Walsh, Sr.. Upon graduating high school Ed went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy.

Ed will forever be known as someone who helped anyone who needed it. Whether it was mowing yards, shoveling driveways or chauffeuring friends around to appointments he was always there to lend a hand. He also enjoyed to dancing.

Ed is survived and will be deeply missed by his two nieces, Karen Sprague and Heather Bates and her husband Gerard; his two nephews, Kevin Colburn and his wife Elizabeth and Ron Colburn and and his wife Pamela; his eight great nieces and nephews; his one great great nephew; as well as many other friends and family.

He is predeceased by his sister, Frances Colburn and his brother, James Walsh.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ed’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 10 AM at Blessed Trinity Parish-St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N Main Street, Westford. Burial to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Westford.
