Esther T. Lecourt

Esther LeCourt, 93, of Westford passed away Monday, May 23rd, 2011 in Ayer, Ma. Ester was born in Westford, MA on December 1, 1917, a daughter of the late Evelyn Desrosier and the late Edwin Bechard. She was raised in Westford. As a young girl, she worked at Abbott Worsted in Graniteville. Esther married Alexander LeCourt on March 2nd 1938. She later worked for Raytheon in Lawrence, MA. She retired from the Colonel Robinson School after 25 years. She was a lifelong communicant of Saint Catherine's of Alexandria Church. She will be remembered as a sweet and compassionate lady who worked hard and was devoted to her family. Esther leaves behind her beloved husband of 73 years, Alexander LeCourt; a sister, Theresa Dundas; a son in law David C. Moulton; a grandson David C. Moulton, Jr., his wife Jeannie (Doucette) and their son Alec; a granddaughter, Ali Moulton, and her family Rob Arthur, RJ Moulton, and JD Moulton; nieces Darlene Dundas, Sharon Lantange, Karen Gandy, and Pam Quigley and Sheila Pitt; a nephew Wayne Bechard also by great nieces Jennifer Gerlach and Tracie Seidel. She was predeceased in death by her parents; her beloved daughter, Nancy Moulton; her sister Una Beaulieu; her brother Wallace Bechard; and her niece Elaine Kelly.Friends may call at The Healy Funeral Home on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Esther's funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint Catherine's Church, Westford, MA on Saturday, May 28th, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery.
