WESTFORD - Florence M. (Milot) Daigle, 83, of Westford, beloved wife, mom, "nana", and sister died at Wingate at Belvidere on Monday, November 25, 2013 after a long illness.
Florence was born in Westford on December 20, 1929 to the late Claudia (Bouchard) and Joseph Milot. She was the loving wife of late Jean-Paul Daigle and beloved mother of Anne Daigle and her husband Richard Heyman of Encinitas CA, Mark Daigle and his wife Mary Barsamian of Pelham NH, and Judy Daigle of Groton MA. She leaves cherished grandchildren: Scott Heyman, Julia Heyman, and Marissa Daigle. Florence is survived by 3 brothers and sisters: Georgette Valcourt, Cecile Boisvert, and Charles Milot, all of Westford. She was predeceased by Germaine St. Hilaire, Lionel Milot, Sammy Milot, and Armand Milot. She is also survived by sister and brother-in-laws: Maurice Daigle and his wife Beatrice of Dracut, Albert Daigle and his wife Terry of Lowell, Richard Daigle and his wife Lorraine of Lowell, Beatrice Daigle Tarello of Reading, Estelle Bergeron and her husband Paul of Pelham NH, and Irene Basnett and her husband Jim of Littleton. She also leaves a special niece, Wanda Edwards, and many dear friends, particularly Theresa Daly, Don and Dot Banfield, and Doug Lefevbre.
She was a long time parishioner of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Westford, dearly loved her grandchildren, and enjoyed favorite pastimes of shopping and sewing.
The family gives a special thank you to her sister Georgette Valcourt for her dedication to visiting and caring; and to her special and dedicated staff at Wingate at Belvidere in Lowell for their long term care.
There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford. Interment to follow at St. Catherine Cemetery.
