Gertrude T. Diette

Mrs. Gertrude T. (Pyne) Diette, age 95, a 25-year resident of Westford, formerly of Lowell, passed away on Sunday August 18, 2013 at LifeCare Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton. She was the widow of Warren P. Diette who passed in 1984. She was born in Lowell, MA on April 11, 1918, daughter of the late John H. & Agnes (O'Neill) Pyne. She was a proud homemaker dedicated to raising her family. She had also worked as a Switchboard Operator for Textron Industries in Lowell. She was an avid reader, and loved cooking and baking. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna & Frank Gomez of Burke, Virginia, and Audrey & Robert A. Dunn of Westford; 5 Grandchildren, Matthew, Alexander and Michelle Gomez, Gordon and Barry Dunn; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Aurora, Theo, Sean, and Islay Gomez. She was sister of the late Gerald Pyne.brAt being her request, there will be no visitation. Cremation to take place Tuesday. Relatives & Friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Anne's Church, 75 King Street, Littleton, MA at 9:00 AM.
