Gladys Pearl Conn

TYNGSBOROUGH - Gladys Pearl (Dawson) Conn, age 92, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at her home in Tyngsborough, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. For seventy five and a half years, she was the beloved wife of Clifford C. Conn.She was born in Mitchellville, Iowa on August 28, 1925, a daughter of the late Earl and Lillie (Pearson) Dawson. Gladys was a resident of Tyngsborough for the past thirteen years and was formerly of Peoria, AZ where she resided for thirty one years.Gladys found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also enjoyed playing golf with her husband and friends, even serving as President of the ladies golf league.Besides her husband, Clifford, she is survived by her daughter, Karen Earnest of Groton; five grandchildren, Melissa Rekos of Groton, Lindsay Nelson and her husband, Brad, of Lunenburg, Michael Earnest and his wife, Kristina, of Long Island City, NY, Curtis Conn of Jacksonville, FL, and Charly Conn and his wife, Morgan, of Des Moines, IA; four great grandchildren, Krysta Rekos of Madeira Beach, FL, Kailyn Rekos of Groton, Drew and Riley Nelson, both of Lunenburg; a brother, Virgil Dawson of Princeton, IA; also many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late William Conn and was pre-deceased by six brothers and four sisters.ARRANGEMENTS - At her request, services will be held privately and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
