Jacqueline T (Grenier) Stuart, a Westford resident, left this world on July 29, 2021 following a brief illness. She was 93.
Born in Westford on April 4, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Alberic and B. Elodia (Lamy) Grenier. Jacqueline grew up in Westford and graduated from Westford Academy in 1946.
She moved to Lowell where she met and married Clayton Stuart and they raised their family there.
When the children were grown Jacqueline went to work as a hostess for Burger King, a job she loved. She worked there for 10 years before working for Tau-Tron for the next 15 years, retiring at age 64.
Jacqueline loved playing games, especially cribbage with her son Gerald and scrabble with her daughter Carol. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter Carol Russell and her husband Steve of Greenville, NH; a son Gerald Stuart and his wife Dottie of Lowell; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Donna and Michael Stuart, sister of the late Jean, Lucille, Simone, brother Armand, and former husband Clayton.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jacqueline's Celebration of Life on Sunday at the Westford Healy Funeral Home, 57 North Main St Westford from 2 until 6 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 AM in the Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N Main Street, Westford. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
