WESTFORD- Mr. James D. Hansen, 83, passed away Saturday November 28th at his home.James was born on April 18, 1932 in Everett, Massachusetts a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Finn) Hansen. Loving husband of fifty four years to the late Agnes (Holmes) Hansen who passed on April 1, 2011. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Patty Belliveau. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Army. James was a graduate of Melrose High School, Boston State College where he received a Industrial Arts degree, and later furthered his education with a Masters degree in Administration from UMass- Lowell.He taught Industrial Arts for over thirty years in the Wilmington School System and most recently at the Blanchard Middle School in Westford. James was an avid gardener who took great pride in growing tomatoes and also was an avid writer who had written a poetry book which was published. He is survived by his two sons, Tom Hansen and his wife Melissa of Westford, Steven Hansen and his wife Valerie of Londonderry, N.H., a daughter, Annmarie Hansen and her husband Michael Wilkening of Texas; a son in law, Ed Belliveau of New Hampshire; seven grandchildren, Michael Hansen, Meghan Stephenson and her husband Shane, Derek Hansen, Abigail Hansen, David Belliveau, Allyson Belliveau, Matthew Belliveau, and a great grandson, Jackson Stephenson.ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday December 2nd at the J.A. HEALY & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St. Westford, MA. from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Funeral Thursday morning with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St Catherine of Alexandria Parish, 107 North Main St. Westford.
