Janet E. Darling

WESTFORD - Janet E. Darling, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at Emerson Hospital in. Concord.

She was born in Lynn, Ma. on February 20, 1939, the daughter of the late William and Lillys (Parker) Darling. Janet was a resident of Westford and was formerly of Lowell, Lynn and Littleton where she resided for ten years.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a kitchen aide at Gabler Childrens Hospital in Waltham for several years.

Janet loved to cook and attended Fanny Farmer Cooking School earlier in her life. She also enjoyed reading and was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins.

She is survived by several cousins including Aline (Jean) Finney of Townsend, MA, David Finney of Auburn, MA, Michael Finney of Los Alamos, NM, Carol (Finney) Litchfield of Westford, MA, Richard Finney of Ashby, MA and Linda (Finney) Peters of Townsend, MA.

DARLING - Family and friends may call at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD, on Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 11am to 12 noon. A prayer service will take place at the Funeral Home at 12 o'clock followed by interment at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Easterseals, 233 South Wacker Drive, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60606.
