Janice Seel

Janice C. (Connell) Seel, age 65, long-time Ayer resident, formerly of Westford, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Ayer on April 30th, 1948, the beloved daughter of Mrs. Josephine (Lewkowicz) Connell of Westford, and the late Philip R. Connell who passed in 1996. She attended the Country Day School and then graduated from the Rose Hawthorne School in Concord, MA. Janice enjoyed traveling, cooking and gardening in her spare time. Prior to her retirement, she was a school bus driver for the Ayer Public Schools. Prior to that she worked at Kimball Farm Ice Cream in Westford. Besides her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Seel of Westford; two sons, Jeff Seel of Ayer and Jason Seel of Lowell; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy & John Williams of CA; a brother and sister-in-law, Philip "PJ" & Katy Connell of Westford; two nieces, Amy and Brittany; two nephews, Matthew and Zachary. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will take place at St. Catherine Cemetery in Westford at the convenience of the family.
