Jeannette Helene Labbe

Jeannette Helene (Laferriere) Labbe, of Westford, entered into rest, peacefully at her home Sunday July 9th after a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her beloved husband Roland Labbe, with whom together they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in April, and daughters Sandra Gennell and husband Robert of Londonderry NH, and Susan Plasky and husband Joseph of Tyngsboro, MA. She was born in Lowell, the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Ida (Parent) Laferriere of Lowell, MA. She attended Saint Joseph Schools in Lowell and later settled in Westford where she was a homemaker and raised her family. In addition to taking pride in her family and home, Jeannette had a love for animals that was evident in the loving care she gave her pugs Jackson and Molly. She enjoyed singing county music, gardening, bird watching, dining out, flea markets and had a love of history. Jeannette was a gentle, nurturing caregiver and will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by a sister and close friend, Claire Boisvert and her husband George of Lowell, a sister-in-law Beatrice Gamache and husband Marcel of Amherst, NH, her grandchildren Shane, Evan and Elana and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Robert Laferriere.brThere will be no visiting hours.
