Jennie A. Koravos

Jennie A. Koravos of Auburn NH, formerly of Westford MA, died peacefully on Sunday night, October 7th, 2012 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Christos Koravos. She was born in Lowell, MA on June 3, 1927 to the late John and Mary (Kot) Caban. She attended school in Lowell. Jennie was a homemaker who enjoyed spending most of her time with her family and traveling to Florida for the winter. An avid Red Sox and Patriot fan, she took pleasure in a friendly wager with her son on every Patriot game. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Jennie is survived by her son Michael Koravos and his wife JoAnne of Auburn NH, two grandchildren, Nicholas and Jamie Koravos of Auburn, NH, her sister Cathy Rogers of Lowell MA, her brother Eddie Caban and his wife Alice of Dracut MA, a brother in-law Vincent Koravos of Arizona, a sister in-law Mary Koravos of Lowell MA and several nieces and nephews. Jennie is predeceased by her sisters, Josie, Nora, Blanche and brothers Stanley, Frank and Walter.Friends and relatives may call Thursday, October 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the JA Healy Sons Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10:00 am the Holy Trinity Polish Church, 340 High Street, Lowell. Burial to follow at the Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell.In lieu of flowers, donations in Jennies honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
