Joanne M. Daley

Joanne M (Holston) Daley, 64, of Westford, Mass., passed away peacefully at her home on September 12, 2017 after a hard fought, inspirational, two year battle with cancer. Born on February 4, 1953, she was the daughter of the late William F Holston & Hazel F (Campbell) Holston. For just shy of 45 years, she was the beloved wife of Ralph E Daley.
She was a strong and loving woman known for her spirit of generosity, infectious smile, and fierce love for her family. She dedicated her life to caring and providing for her family both in the best and in the most difficult of times. Her love will remain irreplaceable. Our hearts are full of the love and experiences that we shared. While those touched by her will carry a lasting ache where we once felt her love and security, we will all continue our pursuit for the level of happiness she desired for us. Well known as the very special “Grammy Jo” to Jackie and Austin Daley, she lived for the joy of their laughter and the sweetness of their smiles.

Besides her husband Ralph, she was the loving mother of Robert E. Daley and his wife Holly, and Ryan W. Daley and his wife Laurie. She was the loving sister of John Holston and his wife Lorene Holston, Nancy Forest, Chester Holston, Morris Holston, and William Holston Jr. She was the loving aunt of Melanie Clark. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Jackalyn Daley and Austin Daley, and her fur baby Lucy Sable.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will gather to honor and remember Joanne at J A Healy Sons Funeral Home, 57 North Main Street in Westford on Friday, September 15 from 4-7p.m. A graveside service will be held at 12p.m. on Saturday, September 16 at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Westford.
