John T. Brown

John T. Brown, fiancé of Carrie Lodato passed away unexpectedly at his Westford residence on Wednesday November 6, 2019. He was 50. John was born August 4, 1969 in Somerville and was the loving son of the late Nancy Krawic Sylvia and stepson to the late Gerald Sylvia of Cape Cod.

John was raised in Somerville and recently moved to Westford where he resided with his fiancé Carrie Lodato.
John was the kind of man who made friends everywhere he went. John was a caring man, had a huge kind heart, loud funny sense of humor, and loyalty to others. Those are just a few of the many things about him that drew people to him. Being a friend of John meant that you always had a friend for life. John loved helping others, he loved bringing people together for good company, good food and good laughter.

John's passion in life was to fish. He inspired those around him to take interest as well. If he wasn't surrounded by the people he loved, you could always find him at some body of water with a fishing pole in hand, rain or shine, doing what he loved to do best. John was a genuine person who wanted nothing more than to make everyone happy.

John is survived by his soulmate and fiancé Carrie Lodato, his son Christopher Lodato, his granddaughter Riley Lodato, two nieces Ashley Costa and Samantha Costa, two great nieces Catharine and Madison Lavoie, and his lifelong friends Jeff Harlow, Tommy Vargas and his wife Megan and John Carbone. He was predeceased by his loving sister Malinda Costa.


Relatives and friends are invited to John's Celebration of Life from 12 until 4 PM on Sunday November 17th at the Healy Funeral Home, 57 North Main Street Westford. A prayer service will follow at 4:00PM. Burial will be private.
