John J. Gagnon

WESTFORD - John J. Gagnon, 74, of Westford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 24, 2016 at River Terrace in Lancaster, MA., with all the love of his family. John was born in Lowell, MA, on March 7, 1941, a son of the late John Francis and M. Jeanette Gagnon. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Priscilla L. (Dube) (McLaughlin) Gagnon of Westford, MA. and his sister Dr. Patricia A. Gagnon of Ayer, MA. and daughters, Elizabeth Gagnon of Westford, MA., Sharon Bellemore and her husband Richard of Merrimack NH, Donna McLaughlin of Jamaica Plain, MA., Dr. Susan McGinnis and her husband Peter of Manchester, NH, and sons, Col. Gregory Gagnon and his wife Johanna of San Antonio, TX. John Gagnon and his girlfriend Nancy of Chelmsford MA., Patrick Gagnon and his wife Sharon of Nashua NH., and Michael McLaughlin of Brookfield, NH. and his 15 grandchildren and 13 Great grandchildren.John was a graduate of Westford Academy “class of 1959” and enjoyed every moment in the outdoors and woods of Westford. He also served his country in US Air Force and impressed those honorable values on to his sons. John was a member of the American Legion in Westford.John will be remembered as a loving husband, father and a great friend to so many people, its hard to imagine how many people he touched in his life. You could always find him down by the lake out on trails with his beloved dog Molly, on a daily basis.ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends may call at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St., WESTFORD on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 4 until 7pm. There will be a Celebration of John’s life on Monday morning, Feb. 29 at 11 o'clock at the First Parish Church United, 48 Main St., Westford Center, followed by a luncheon in John’s memory at the church hall.
