John W. "Zukie" Zelukiewicz, age 66, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Anne M. Zelukiewicz. Zukie was born in Lowell on October 4, 1946, son of Rena A. (Lamy) Zelukiewicz of Westford who survives him and the late John J. Zelukiewicz. He was a longtime resident of Westford and a graduate of Westford Academy. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW Post 6539, American Legion Post 159 and the Franco American Club in Westford. Prior to his retirement, Zukie was a greenskeeper at Indian Ridge Country in Andover for ten years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, the ocean and watching the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots. Besides his wife Anne and his mother Rena, he is survived by his children, Joelle Fagan and her husband David, Todd Zelukiewicz and his wife Mary and Erika Kelly and her husband Jon, all of New Hampshire; a sister, Janet Ward and her husband James of Westford; two grandchildren, Tehla Zelukiewicz and Ayden Kelly; two nephews, Greg Marchand and his wife Kelly of Shirley and Brent Marchand of Westford; two great nephews, Ryan and Mathew Marchand; his aunt and godmother, Lorraine Gower of Tyngsboro; also many cousins and dear friends. There will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Prayer Service on Thursday morning, June 20, at 11 o'clock at St. Catherine Cemetery, Westford.
