Judith "Judy" Boyd-Trinidade

March 22, 1943 — November 3, 2021

Judith (Judy) Boyd-Trinidade passed away November 3, 2021, in Fitchburg MA.
Judy was born in Boston, MA March 22, 1943 and spent most of her childhood in Burlington, MA. She graduated from Billerica High 1961.
For 38 of her 78 years Judy was very happily married to Alfred (Fred) Trinidade. During those 38 years they had many great adventures camping and spending time with their children and grandchildren. There were years of wonderful summers at Beachacres Campground in Wells Maine with Ninny and Papa and the gang. Gramma Jude & Grampa Fred doted on their numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Never a birthday passed without a gift coming along with them and spoiling them all rotten.
Judy was a terrific Mom to her sons Michael (Mike) Barden and Ken Barden. When the Little League had too many kids and not enough coaches, Judy stepped up to the plate. Women were not allowed to coach but Judy fought for the right and those boys had a team to play on with a terrific female coach. She was a progressive woman way before the term was even thought of. A true trendsetter. She was a single Mom for many years and taught her boys about being strong and independent with a lot of love thrown in.

The oldest of the 6 Boyd children of Arthur L. Boyd and Harriet Boyd. She was the stand in Mom, big sis and confidant all rolled into one tiny package.

She loved her cats, singing and being outside in nature, but most of all she loved people. It was common for Judy to befriend people she met in the grocery store or the doctor's office – within minutes she would know where they lived, how many children and pets they had. She had a gift of loving & caring for all people not just those in her family.

Judy is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Harriet Boyd from Billerica, her brother Larry from Florida. She is survived by her best friend and husband Fred Trinidade of Nashua, NH, her son Michael Barden and his wife Debbie of Groton, MA, her son Ken Barden from Florida, stepsons Christian Trinidade and Jamie Trinidade and his wife Tracy, sister Bonnie White and husband Ron from Windham NH, sister Karen Boyd-Carr and husband Rick from Windham NH, brother Dan Boyd from Ossipee NH, baby sis Laura Mellen-Toscano and husband Tony from Clearwater FL, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren and way too many nieces and nephews to count.

Judy was a beautiful soul to all who knew her – she will be greatly missed.
Till we meet again, Judy.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to kittyangels.org. A funeral service will be held at The First Congregational Church 18 Andover Rd Billerica, MA on November 13, 2021 at 12 noon. Masks are required.
