Judith Louise (Anderson) Deltano

Venice, FL - Judith Louise (Anderson) Deltano, age 82, died peacefully at home in Venice, FL on Thursday, December 26 with David, her husband of 58 years, by her side.

Judi was born in Quincy, MA on July 18, 1937, the eldest of four girls, to Andreas Gothard Anderson and Alice Josephine (Johnson) Anderson, and grew up in Quincy and Norwell.
She graduated from Norwell High School, Class of 1955, and from the Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing in 1958 as a Registered Nurse. In 1985, she proudly earned a Bachelor of Science from New England College in Henniker, NH. Judi worked as a Registered Nurse her entire adult life and loved her varying careers at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and her town nursing homes. She retired from Cooperative Elder Services, an adult daycare center in Concord.

Judi loved singing, quilting, was an avid reader, and was an active member of both the Merrimack Valley Chorus (formerly Sweet Adelines) and The Red Hat Society. She was a former member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Nashua, NH. Judi had a wonderful group of friends with whom she made decades of memories, and was one of the proud founding members of the Rossi Girls, a group of close friends who loved each other and loved good times together.
In addition to her devoted husband, Judi is survived by her dear daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Brian Walsh of Melrose; her loving son and daughter-in-law David and Kristin Deltano of Dover, FL; her beloved grandchildren Kevin, Colin and Ian all of Melrose, Matthew and Abigail of Dover, FL; three caring sisters Janine Shahbaz of Quincy, June Chetwynde of Hanover, Joanne Andreasson of Norwell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Judi at the J.A. Healy Sons Funeral Home at 57 North Main Street, Westford on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 11 to 12:30 PM. Her Lutheran funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Westford.
