June P. Foster

WESTFORD - June P. (DeMatteis) Foster, age 91, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Life Care Center of Acton after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond P. Foster.

She was born in Milford, Mass on June 12, 1929, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Maryann (Giacomuzzi) DeMatteis. June was raised in Arlington. She loved to cook and enjoyed gardening. She had incredible strength and determination and was the life of the party. Her greatest joy was spending time with her daughter and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Foster of Westford and her partner, Robert Wenner, and loving sister Carolyn DeMatteis of Westford as well as siblings Audrey Ranieri of Peabody, John DeMatteis and his wife, Jeannine of Lowell and Pauline Ballew of Damascus, MD; also many beloved nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, including a dear grand niece, Audrey Bordes and her husband, Cormac and their children, William Paul and John, all of Groton. June was pre-deceased by her siblings Claire DeCoste, Eleanor Stephens, Joseph DeMatteis, Marie Clough, George DeMatteis and Alice Hall.

Arrangements - Due to the current gathering restrictions, funeral services for June will be held privately and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
