Kathleen M. (Valenti) "Kathy' Lipsitz

Kathleen M. (Valenti) "Kathy" Lipsitz, age 71, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital. For 44 years, she was the beloved wife of Norman I. Lipsitz.

She was born in Barrington, RI on May 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Louis and Catherine (DeAngelis) Valenti. Kathy grew up in Barrington, RI and attended Rhode Island College where she received her Bachelor's Degree in education. She was a resident of Westford since 1984 and was formerly of Chelmsford.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a training coordinator at Sears Department Store in Lowell where she worked for many years. She loved nothing more than spending time and talking with her family and friends.

Besides her husband Norman, she is survived by her son, Bryan Lipsitz of Westford; her siblings, Marie Marcoccia and her husband Mario of Barrington, RI and Ann Walsh and her husband William of Deltona, FL; also many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Pauline Andreozzi, Frank Fraettarelli and Dominic Valenti.

Arrangements – Family and friends are respectfully invited to Kathy's visitation at the Westford Healy Funeral Home, 57 N. Main Street, Westford, on Wednesday morning December 15 from 10 to 11am. A prayer service will take place during the visitation. Due to Westford town ordinance, face coverings are respectfully required. Interment will be private.
