Kenneth R. Campbell, age 83, a residentof Lowell for over 26 years, formerly of Westford, died on Saturday, June 24, 2017 atWillow Manor following a brief unexpected illness. He was husband of the late Virginia M. (Coleman) Campbell who died in 2010.He was born in Coleville, WA onApril 19, 1934, son of the late Elbert & Helen (Linderman) Campbell. He served from 1953-56 in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.Kenneth retired from Sears where he worked as a salesman for over 30 years. He had an Accounting Degree from Lowell Commercial College and was a bookkeeper for several area businesses over the years.He enjoyed golf, and was a long time member of the Nabnasset Country Club in Westford. He also enjoyed bowling and was on a league at Brunswick in Lowell for many years.He is survived by his children, Kenneth Campbell and his wife Kathleen of Waltham, Christine Leger of Templeton, Cynthia Castanza and her husband James of Lowell, Kevin Campbell and his wife Cheryl of Concord, MA, Caroline Matley and her husband Scott of Westford; 8 grandchildren, Justin, Gergory, Aaron, Jessica, Sara, Megan, Abigail and Molly; 3 great-grandchildren, Alexia, Gianna and Jayden; he also leaves a brother, Richard Campbell of Las Vegas; a sister, Kay Rigeway of WA; also several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers.ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives & Friends will gather to honor and remember Kenneth at his Memorial Visitation from 9:00am-11:00am on Friday June 30, 2017 at the J.A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St., Westford, MA. A prayer service will take place in the funeral home at 11:00am.. Interment to follow atSt. Catherine'sCemetery.
