Lena M. DeFelice

WESTFORD - Lena M. (English) DeFelice, 96, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony “Tony” DeFelice who passed in 1999.

Lena was born on August 20, 1928 in Watertown, MA, a daughter of the late Ennio and Carmella (Carbone) English.

She had been employed for many years as a secretary in a healthcare office in Bedford, MA.

Lena loved cooking, making homemade pasta, baking Italian cookies and gardening.

Most important to her was the time spent with her loving family.

She leaves two daughters, Geraldine M. Haring and her husband Lee Robert Haring and Linda L. Iovino and her husband Domenic M. Iovino, all of Westford; five grandchildren, Domenic M. Iovino, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Groton, Nicholas C. Iovino and his wife Chelsea of Westford, Robert Haring of Leominster, Michael Haring of Westford and Antoinette McClafferty and her husband James of Derry, NH; seven great grandchildren, Isabella M. Iovino, Angelina M. Iovino and Domenic M. Iovino, III, all of Groton, Nicholas M. Iovino of Westford, Gavin Villineau of Nashua, NH, Jaydan McClafferty and Jackson McClafferty, both of Derry, NH, and Elise Haring of Leominster; a sister, Marie Wiggins of Clearwater, FL; many nieces and nephews. Lena was predeceased by her siblings, Dominic and Aladino English and Carmella Brooks.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lena’s Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 26, from 4 until 7 PM at the Westford Healy Funeral Home, 57 North Main Street, Westford. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday morning, September 27, at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Westford.
