WESTFORD - Leo P. Tully, age 79, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home in Westford after a short illness, surrounded by his family. For fifty-three years, he was the beloved husband of Barbara J. (Koziol) Tully.He was born in Lowell on August 15, 1938, a son of the late Jack Tully and Ida (McAskill) Charbonneau. Leo resided in Westford for seventeen years and was formerly of Nashua. He served in the U.S Army from 1955 until 1959.Prior to his retirement, Leo was the proprietor of Leo's Place in Nashua. He previously worked as a truck driver for Law Motor Freight in Nashua for ten years and earlier in his life, he was an iron worker for Local 7 in Boston.He was a member of the American Legion Post 437, enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating on Long Pond in Westford and vacationing in Aruba. Above all, he loved being with his family.Besides his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his daughter, Karen Britko and two grandchildren, Ryan and Tyler Britko, all of Hudson, NH. Also, a sister, Dolores Clark and a brother, Walter Charbonneau.ARRANGEMENTS - At his request, services will be held privately.
