LeRoy George Fahey

LeRoy George Fahey, Jr., beloved husband of Theresa A. (Nadolny) Fahey, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019, following a period of declining health. He was 90.

Born on January 18, 1929, in Florence, Massachusetts he was a son of the late LeRoy G. Fahey, Sr. and Nora E. (Dalton) Fahey.

Roy served in the US Army during WWII. Upon his return he worked for 27 years at Ft. Devens as an oil burner mechanic.

Roy enjoyed hunting and was also an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed ice fishing with his grandsons.

Surviving him besides his wife Theresa, with whom he would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this coming October are his two children, Debra Fahey of Lowell, Kevin G. Fahey of Thetford, VT; four grandsons, Jason Fahey of Orange, VT, Clifford Fahey of Orford, NH, Leum Fahey and Brian Patrick Fahey both of Bradford, VT; eight great grandchildren; and a brother James Fahey of Norfolk, VA.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00 AM in St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 North Main St. Westford. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery.
