WESTFORD -LouisJ. DiCecca, age 55, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his home in Westford in the arms of his beloved wife, Carolyn J. (Lazare) DiCecca.
Hewas born in Medford on August 25, 1960, the beloved son of Joseph and Pauline (Traniello) DiCecca of Woburn who survive him. Louis graduated from Arlington Catholic High School and went on to further his education atBentley University where hereceived a bachelors degreein Computer Sciences.
Prior to his illness, he was employed as a software designer at Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston for the past six years. He previously worked at Fidelity Investmentsin Boston and Marlborough for twenty four years.
Louis was an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoyed watching movies, working in his yard and gardening. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a bigfan of the New England sports teams. Earlier in his life, he was a golfcaddy at the Winchester CountryClub.
Besides his loving wife, Carolyn and his parents, Joseph and Pauline, he is survived by a sister Lisa Scannell of Westford; his niece and goddaughter, Meagan Scannell of Westford; A godson, Ricky DiCecca of Chelmsford; his beloved cat, Tuxie; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
DiCECCA - Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a prayer service at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME,57 N.Main St., Westford on Saturday, May 14 at 12 noon.Visitation will immediately follow at the Funeral Home until 3pm. Interment will be private.
