Margaret (Dean) Egan, 53, of Littleton passed away peacefully on June 24, 2012 at her home after battling a brief illness. She was born in Lowell to the late Edward and Louise (Sargent) Dean. Margaret lived in Groton for many years before recently moving to Littleton with her husband Paul. She was a member of the Maynard Elks and was a fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Other interests of hers were biking, hiking, camping, and anything to do with nature, but most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Paul Egan of Littleton, two sons Dustin Perley of Groton and Nicholas Perley of Littleton, a step son Micheal Egan and his wife Christine of Ayer, three step daughters Leanne Egan of Plum Island, Lauren Egan and Julia Egan of Ayer four brothers Edward Dean and his wife Dianne of Milford MA, Larry Dean and his wife Gillian of Westford, Fred Dean and his wife Maggie of Westford, Jeff Dean and his long time companion Sharon Bresland of Littleton, and five sisters Pat Aubrey and her husband Barry of Amelia Ohio, Betz Dundas and her husband Dennis of Tyngsborough, Cathy Knox and her husband Jay of Sanford Florida, Lyn Gates and her husband Donald of Clay New York, and Julie Dean of Hawaii. Margaret was also predeceased by a brother Michael Dean. She also has many nieces and nephews who love her very much. To my loving wife ; I would not trade one minute of the time we had together for anything in the world. My only wish is that it could have been much longer.
