Melinda Maffetone

WESTFORD - Melinda (Koreh) Maffetone, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 at Westford House in Westford after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph John Maffetone who passed away October 23rd, 2004.
Melinda was born in Cluj, Romania, on February 8, 1939, a daughter of the late Pal and Elisabeth Koreh. She was a resident of Westford since 1999 and was formerly of Long Island, NY. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an X-Ray Technician at Nassau Radiologic in New York for many years.
Melinda was a dedicated grandmother who enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She is survived by her two children, Peter Maffetone of Poway, CA and Cynthia Marino and her husband, David of Westford; also two grandchildren, Joseph and Isabella Marino of Westford.
At her request, services will be held privately.
