Michael T. Cassa

NASHUA, NH - Michael T. Cassa, 40, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at his home in Nashua, NH after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Crystal M. (Phinney) Cassa.

Michael was born in Long Branch, NJ on December 27, 1976, a son of Thomas J. Cassa and the late Mary E. (O'Toole) Cassa. He was a resident of Nashua for the past fourteen years and was formerly of Westford.

Prior to his illness, he was employed as an engineer at Pan Am Railways in Billerica, for seven years. Michael was avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hiking, camping, kayaking and walking in the woods with his dog, Freedom.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal M. Cassa; his father, Thomas J. Cassa and his wife, Frances ofPalm Beach Gardens, FL; two brothers, Christopher Cassa of Jensen Beach, FL, and Scott Cassa and his wife, Holly of Groton; his grandmother, Carmela Cassa of West Palm Beach, FL; his father and mother-in-law, Jack and Kathy Phinney of Westford; a sister-in-law, Melinda Phinney of Westford; nieces, Therese, Sage and Lilah; nephews, Wyatt and Gavin; also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS - Funeral Services for Michael will be held privately and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
