Morris Henry Holston

SHIRLEY - Morris Henry "Moe" Holston, age 69, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home in Shirley after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Harvard on July 23, 1945, a son of the late William and Hazel (Campbell) Holston.

Moe was a mechanic during most of his working career, having worked at his brother's service station, Johnie's Texaco in Groton for over twenty years.

He belonged to the Nashoba Valley Bowling League and was an avid bingo player. He had a passion for fishing, enjoyed working on cars and going to Foxwoods.

Moe is survived by his three children, Michael Holston and his wife Kelley of Westford, Lori Covey and her significant other, Kevin Bean both of Lyme, NH, and Jamie Holston of Pepperell; two grandchildren, Kevin Holston and Lyndsey Holston; four siblings, Chester Holston of Shirley, John Holston and his wife Lorene of Groton, Nancy Forest of NH and Joanne Daley and her husband Ralph of Westford; also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William "Billy" Holston and brother-in-law of the late Norman Forest.

Funeral Services for Moe will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Arrangements are in the care of the J. A.
