Patricia A. Davan

Patricia A. (Hulick) Davan, age 72, a longtime resident of Westford, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at Emerson Hospital in Concord following a short battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Richard A. Davan who passed away in April, 1990. Patricia was born in Lowell on May 17, 1939, a daughter of the late George and Paraska (Kisley) Hulick. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an administrative assistant with Digital Equipment Corp in Maynard for over 20 years. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and earlier in her life, she enjoyed painting, gardening and traveling. She is survived by her children, Lesley E. Davan and her partner Kathy Meliner of Chicago, IL, Richard A. Davan, Jr. and his wife Karissa of Cary, NC, and Sean P. Davan and his wife Jill of Hopkinton, MA; four grandchildren, Kiley Mae Davan, Caitlin Davan, Colin Davan and Ethan Davan; also many nieces, nephews and many dear friends including Thong and Tu Phamduy of Lowell. She was the sister of the late Jenny Mankiewicz, Archie, Roger and Charles Hulick.Relatives and friends may call at the J.A. Healy Sons Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 21 from 5 until 8 p.m. A graveside committal service will take place on Tuesday morning at 10:30 at Fairview Cemetery, Westford.
