NORTHBOROUGH - Patricia A. (Wogan) (Merrill) Robertson, age 86, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Coleman House in Northborough after an extended illness. She was the wife of the late, William F. Robertson, Jr.She was born in Concord, NH, on April 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Roderick and Edna (Miller) Wogan. Pat attended schools in Concord and went on to marry her high school sweetheart, the late Richard Merrill. Those that knew her as "Patsy" knew her as a free spirit who marched to her own music. She was a consummate “yard-saler” who always found treasures in her travels. A true lover of nature and animals, her four-legged canines were as much her “children” as her two-legged ones. She loved fresh water trout fishing and looked forward to her annual Spring trip to Jackman, ME. Pat was a gourmet cook and baker, even translating from French cookbooks to find the perfect recipes for her dinner guests. Her hobbies also included interior design, collecting antiques, sketching and craft making.She is survived by her youngest son, William "Billy" Robertson, III of Wareham; daughter-in-law, Ann Merrill of Chelmsford; her grandchildren, Ashley Merrill of North Chelmsford, Devan Kae Robertson, Chelsea Robertson and William Robertson, IV of Medfield. She was the mother of the late Roderick Wogan Merrill.ARRANGEMENTS - At her request, there will be no visiting hours. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Saturday morning, May 12 at 11 o'clock at St. Mary’s Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) or the ASPCA. www.mspca.org/donate or www.aspca.org/donate.
