EXETER, NH - Philip N. McLenna, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at his home in Exeter, NH surrounded by his loving family. For fifty-six years, he was the beloved husband of Pauline R. (Sheridan) McLenna.He was born in Lowell on December 25, 1938, son of the late Edward and Annie (Sudak) McLenna. Philip was a resident of Exeter, NH for the past sixteen years and was formerly a lifelong resident of Westford. He graduated from Westford Academy in 1956 and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1960.Philip was a supervisor at Raytheon for thirty-five years before his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion Post 159 and the VFW in Westford. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf.Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his three children, Susan Coon and her husband, Gifford of Nashua, NH, Diane Heidel and her husband, Eric of Brookline, NH and Kevin McLenna of Nashua, NH; a brother, Frank "Von" McLenna and his wife, Betty of Raynham; five grandchildren, Joseph and Jonathan Coon, James Coon and his wife, Leighann, and Shannon and Katelyn Heidel; one great grandchild, Ryleigh Coon; also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward N. McLenna.ARRANGEMENTS - Visiting hours will held at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD on Sunday, August 26 from 2 to 5PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford. All are asked to please meet at church.
