Roger W. Moore

Roger W. Moore, age 69, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Emerson Hospital in Concord after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Ellen L. (Roberts) Moore with whom he would have celebrated forty nine years of marriage this July. Roger was born in Woburn on June 27, 1943, a son of the late Warren and Margaret "Peggy" (McClay) Moore. He was a longtime resident of Westford and graduated from Westford Academy, class of 1961. He then went on to serve his country in the US Air Force. Prior to his retirement, Roger was employed in the offset layout department at Courier Printing, formerly Murray Printing in Westford for thirty nine years. He was active with the Westford Fire and Ambulance Department for seventeen years and was a member of the American Legion Post 159 in Westford. Besides his wife Ellen, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven R. and Diana Moore of Maynard, MA, and Jeffrey M. and Jennifer Moore of Westford; a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Stan Cederberg of Westford; two grandchildren, Evan and Ryan Moore.
