Wanita L. Clowrey

Wanita L. (Dupuis) Clowrey, 85, of Westford, passed away on February 14, 2012 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Wanita was the beloved wife of the late John J. Clowrey Jr. who predeceased her in 2002. She was born on November 26th, 1926 in Fitchburg, MA. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Leona (Corriveau) Dupuis. She was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Tyngsboro, MA and the Bradshaw School of Business. In her free time she loved to walk, make puzzles, shop with her daughters and spend hours doting over her grandchildren and a new great-grandson. She is survived by her two daughters, Sheryl A. Ballos of Milford, NH and Maureen Gys and her husband Joseph of Lowell. Wanita is predeceased by her daughter, Melissa Clowrey, who passed away in May, 1980. She also leaves six grandchildren, Courtney, Hayley and Lindsey Ballos of Milford, NH and Katelyn, Cory, and Jordan Gys of Lowell, as well as a great grandson Braylon. Wanita is also predeceased by her brother, Walter Breault of Lowell, and is survived by her sister-in-law, Lyndel Breault, and many nieces and nephews. Wanita was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 17th at the J. A. Healy Sons Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine's Church in Westford. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chelmsford.
