William Bill Wright

William "Bill" Wright, 68, of Westford, MA, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home in Westford. Bill was born, raised in Somerville, before moving to Westford 38 years ago, Son of the late, Joseph and Mary (Mahoney) Wright. He worked with the Boston Globe for 38 years as a Truck Driver, recently retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 259. Bill leaves his loving wife, Catherine E. Ahearn Wright of Westford, MA. He is predeceased by a son, Stephen B. Wright. He also leaves a daughter, Kelly Napolitano and her husband Emil of Somers, NY, son, William Wright Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Ayer, MA. He has wonderful grandchildren that will miss him terribly, Stephen, Kylie and Taylor Wright and Joseph and Michael Napolitano. Bill also leaves two brothers, Daniel Wright and his wife Ann Marie of North Reading, and Gregory Wright and his wife Lauren of Maynard, a sister, Karen Wright of Danvers. There are also many nieces and nephews that will miss him. He is also predeceased by a sister, Maureen Wright and brothers, John, Joseph and Eugene Wright. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his Saturdays at Rockingham Park in Salem, NH and trips to Travers Weekend at Saratoga with his dear friend, Sam Richards (Muck and Mire).Friends are invited to call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25th at the J.A. Healy Sons Funeral Home. A Funeral Service in his honor will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, North Chelmsford, MA.
